OUR TEAM
Alison Berry
Competition Manager
I moved from the UK to Perth in September 2025 and was eager to reconnect with the sport I have loved since my teenage years. I started synchronised swimming as a teenager at a recreational level and fell in love with the sport from the very beginning. In 2015, I began coaching recreational swimmers, and I've loved helping athletes build their confidence, skills, and passion for the water ever since.
Like many young athletes, I dreamed of competing at the Olympics. While that wasn't the path my journey took, the dream is still very much alive — now through coaching. My goal is to one day help athletes achieve their own Olympic dreams, and being part of their journey is something I find incredibly rewarding.
Soon after arriving in Perth, I reached out to Artistic Swimming WA to see if there were any coaching opportunities available — and I was thrilled to discover there were! Very recently they offered me the role of Competition Manager — an opportunity I was both grateful for and excited to accept. From day one, I've felt welcomed by such a passionate, supportive, and dedicated community, and I'm proud to be part of a team that is committed to growing artistic swimming across WA.
I'm looking forward to helping create opportunities for our athletes, supporting our clubs, and contributing to the bright future of artistic swimming in Western Australia.
