Eden Worsley

Development Officer

I relocated to Perth from New Zealand to join Artistic Swimming Western Australia as Development Officer, bringing with me a lifelong passion for artistic swimming.

I discovered the sport at 11 years old and fell in love with it from my very first session. After just six months, I progressed into the 12 & Under competitive squad, beginning a journey that would eventually see me proudly represent New Zealand in duet and team events at three World Championships.

Alongside training and competing internationally, I was fortunate to complete two university degrees in Psychology and Sport Health & Coaching, as well as a Diploma in Speech and Drama during my final year of school. These experiences have helped shape who I am, not only as a person, but also in my professional life and as a coach. They have given me a deeper understanding of communication, performance, athlete development and the importance of building confidence both in and out of the pool.

Inspired by the incredible coaches who supported me throughout my career, I began coaching at just 13 years old, working with beginner athletes and discovering how rewarding it is to help others fall in love with the sport.

Today, I am passionate about growing artistic swimming across Western Australia through both metropolitan and regional development pathways while continuing to coach athletes of all ages. Whether I'm delivering programs in the community, creating choreography, or working poolside with athletes and coaches, I feel incredibly fortunate to share the sport that has given me so much.

Finishing my athlete career wasn't the end of my journey in artistic swimming — it was the beginning of a new chapter, and I feel incredibly lucky to continue sharing my passion every day.
