Athlete Development Pathway

Participation Programs

AquaStART is a participation program developed in partnership with Royal Life Saving WA, targeted at developing water safety and providing an introduction to artistic swimming. Led by certified instructors, the program focuses on fun and safety, incorporating basic physical and athletic skills in the water.

AquaStART Schools is ASWA's successful schools program, designed specifically to the needs of your school. We offer 4–10 week programs customised for your school's physical education term plan.

Competitive Programs

Artistic Swimming WA has a successful competitive program. The competitive season runs from July 1 through to the completion of the National Championships. The current competitive season is 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026. To become a competitive member, join a WA artistic swimming club today — clubs offer beginner programs all the way through to competitive masters programs.

High Performance Program

Artistic Swimming WA has a highly successful High Performance Program that identifies and trains WA athletes with the greatest potential to represent Artistic Swimming Australia's National Teams.
