A Wonderful Night Celebrating Artistic Swimming in WA
Brian Miller from ASA and Lauren Melville from Hancock Prospeting
Artistic Swimming WA was delighted to bring our community together for the ASWA Awards Night on Saturday, 12 September, celebrating the achievements, dedication and spirit of our athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, families and clubs across the 2025–2026 season.
It was a fantastic evening filled with celebration, connection and pride. We were very pleased to welcome Lauren from Hancock Prospecting and sincerely thank her for attending and sharing the night with our artistic swimming community.
ASWA is incredibly grateful to Mrs Gina Rinehart and Hancock Prospecting for their generous and ongoing support of artistic swimming in Western Australia. Their sponsorship plays an important role in helping ASWA continue to grow the sport, support our athletes and clubs, and create more opportunities across Western Australia.
The support we receive from Hancock Prospecting makes a meaningful difference to our organisation and our community. It assists us in strengthening our programs, celebrating our athletes, supporting development opportunities and building a stronger future for artistic swimming in WA. We are very proud and grateful to have Hancock Prospecting as such a valued supporter of ASWA.
We would also like to thank Peter Levearsuch from Royal Life Saving WA for attending the evening and for the continued support Royal Life Saving provides to ASWA. We greatly appreciate the partnership, guidance and encouragement that helps strengthen our organisation and our community.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to everyone who joined us on the night — our athletes, parents, coaches, club representatives, officials, volunteers, Board members and supporters. Events like this are only possible because of the people who give their time, energy and passion to artistic swimming throughout the year.
Congratulations to all of our award winners and nominees. Your hard work, commitment and achievements are a credit to you, your clubs and the broader WA artistic swimming community. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved this season.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so special. We look forward to continuing to celebrate, support and grow artistic swimming in Western Australia.
